Crystal Mana is the resource you need to roll for a grimoire at Grimoire Spire. You can find it in chest rewards or prepare the ingredients for its crafting recipe.
Crystal Mana Sources and Roll Cost
There are two ways to obtain Crystal Mana:
- Open chests: Look for Crystal Mana among chest rewards. If you are below level 25, this is an option while you work toward the crafting requirement. See the chest sources guide for activities that award chests.
- Craft it: Once you reach level 25, use the recipe if you have the required fragments and Potato.
Budget 1 Crystal Mana for each Grimoire Roll you want to make.
Crystal Mana Crafting Recipe
Reach level 25 and prepare the following for each use of the recipe:

Open Craft → Materials, then select Crystal Mana to access the recipe.
Prepare Ingredients for Several Crafts
Mana Wolf can drop Crystal Mana Frags; its drop list gives the fragments a 5% chance. See the boss guide for the Mana Wolf encounter.
For three uses of the recipe, prepare 30 Crystal Mana Frags and 15 Potato. For any other number of recipe uses, multiply 10 fragments and 5 Potato by that number.
Spend Crystal Mana at Grimoire Spire
Inside Grimoire Spire, follow the stairs around the raised central platform. Approach the red Grimoire Roll entrance and press E at the Read prompt to roll. Each roll consumes 1 Crystal Mana.
