Cloverlines Materials: Sources, Drops and Uses

Last updated:

Find the right enemy or reward source for the material you need, and distinguish crafting ingredients from grimoire rolls, character Spins, and Halloween resources.

Farm Forest Wolves for Wolf Fang, Leather, and Meat; Forest Boars for Meat; and Armed Delinquents for Cloth and Scrap Metal. Chain Bandit drops Chain Fragments, while Mana Wolf drops Crystal Mana Frags and two distinct fang items. Crystal Mana pays for grimoire rolls, Spins pay for character rerolls, and Halloween materials serve separate exchange, summoning, and passive-awakening purposes.

Material and Currency Reference

Choose resources by what you want to change: Crystal Mana pays for Grimoire Rolls, while Spins and Special Spins serve character rerolls. Crystal Mana Frags and Potato are crafting ingredients. Halloween resources have separate uses: Candy buys event rewards, Ceryn Fragments summon a boss, and Crimson Heart awakens a grimoire passive.

Choose a Combat Source

  • For Leather or a mix of ordinary wolf materials, fight Forest Wolves. They provide Wolf Fang, Leather, and Meat. Forest Boars are another option when you need Meat.
  • For Cloth and Scrap Metal, fight Armed Delinquents. Both materials come from these enemies, making them a useful target when you need both.
  • For Chain Fragments, target Chain Bandit. Its drop chance for that material is 15%.
  • For Crystal Mana Frags or Mana Wolf Fang, target Mana Wolf. Its drop table lists Crystal Mana Frags at 5%, ordinary Wolf Fang at 30%, and Mana Wolf Fang at 35%.

Wolf Fang and Mana Wolf Fang are different items. Forest Wolves can supply ordinary Wolf Fang; choose the Mana Wolf boss when your target is Mana Wolf Fang. The 30% Wolf Fang rate belongs to Mana Wolf's drop table, not to Forest Wolves.

Wood can be obtained while completing Bandits in the Woods; one completion yielded one Wood. Treat that as a possible gain during the quest, rather than a fixed one-Wood reward for every completion.

Use the quest directory to find ordinary enemy objectives and the boss guide for Chain Bandit and Mana Wolf encounter details.

Crafting Ingredients and Halloween Materials

Crystal Mana ingredients

Crystal Mana Frags and Potato are ingredients for Crystal Mana. The recipe requires level 25, 10 Crystal Mana Frags, and 5 Potato in Craft → Materials → Crystal Mana. Finished Crystal Mana can also come from chests, and each Grimoire Roll at Grimoire Spire consumes one.

If you are collecting ingredients for grimoire rolls, target Crystal Mana Frags specifically: the fangs in Mana Wolf's drop table are separate materials and do not replace the fragments in this recipe.

Halloween resources

In Halloween Update Part I (v0.16.18), each event resource serves a different purpose:

  • Candy: Collect it at witches' houses in Witchwood Forest and exchange it with Pumpkin Jack for Pumpkin Head, Halloween Aura, and larger candy bags.
  • Ceryn Fragments: Obtain them from Ceryn, the Cinderweaver. Offer 3 fragments at the altar beside the giant tree to summon Witch Regent.
  • Crimson Heart: A possible rare drop from Witch Regent, used to awaken the Crimson Grimoire's passive ability.

For the Crimson passive, pursue the Ceryn-to-Witch-Regent summoning chain. Candy collection serves the event shop instead.

Follow the Resource You Need

  • Preparing more grimoire rolls: Use the Crystal Mana source and crafting guide for ingredient planning and spending the finished resource.
  • Checking other recipes: Open the Craft menu and bait reference for crafting categories and bait level requirements.
  • Changing your character background: Spins come from Daily Rewards and AFK World. View Daily rewards through Rewards → Daily, or enter the AFK area from Lobby. Special Spins are used for race rerolls at Elder Halen, with Get Special in Character Customization as their acquisition menu. Follow the character reroll guide for the reroll process and race choices.
  • Working toward Crimson Heart: Follow the Ceryn Fragments and Witch Regent guide for the event boss chain.
